COMMUNITY CHOIR
This anthem is a new SAB arrangement of the classic G.F. Handel "Hallelujah Chorus" from Messiah. Through his efforts, R. Kevin Boesiger has created a way to make this all-time classic accessible to a wide range of ensembles, while still remaining faithful to the source material.
With three unique movements, this "Missa Brevis" by R. Kevin Boesiger is a wonderful crossover piece for both educational and sacred SATB ensembles that will give the opportunity for a wide variety of musical expression ranging from introduction into the latin-mass genre, all the way to passionate interpretation of a carefully crafted miniature mass by more advanced ensembles.
“Bolingo” is a traditional African song of joyous praise. Full of rhythmic exuberance, the song proclaims the joy and mystery in God sending His Son, Jesus, to be Emmanuel - God with us. Written for SATB ensemble with tenor solo, and optional percussion 50% of every dollar spent on this title goes directly to help fund the African Children's Choir.
"Be Still, My Soul" is a serene choral anthem for SAB ensemble with piano accompaniment by Tracey Craig Mckibben. With music adapted from Jean Sibelius, and lyrics adapted from Catharina von Schlegel, this piece is a fresh setting of classic elements that displays its peaceful message through poignant, evocative expression.
