Richard Williamson

Richard Williamson is Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Anderson University in Anderson, SC, where he also teaches theory, composition, and conducting. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Eastman School of Music, and Furman University, and has served as a Fulbright Scholar at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima, Peru. Williamson has published compositions and arrangements with various firms and been commissioned to compose for church, school, and community ensembles.He has also taught music in the public schools and served as a church musician.He currently serves as Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, SC. Williamson loves travel, cooking, and spending time with his wife and three children.
