Shayla Blake

      Shayla Blake studied at Stetson University and Texas Tech University and is currently serving on the music faculty at Louisiana Tech University teaching piano, flute, songwriting, choral arranging and as a collaborative pianist. She has also worked at the University of Louisiana at Monroe as collaborative pianist.

      Shayla has directed choirs and instrumental ensembles of all ages and is a member of MTNA, a music teachers’organization. As a composer/arranger, her choral and piano compositions are published by Lorenz, Shawnee Press, Hal Leonard, EasyChoirMusic.com and Fred Bock music.

      Shayla is a volunteer Regional Coordinator for Nashville Songwriters Association International for the Northeast Louisiana area and a member of ASCAP.
